Wellington Engagement Session: Lance & Norma

One thing I remember from this afternoon is the lightheartedness that comes from Lance and Norma.. and how much laughing was involved during the entire shoot.
They say laughter is the best medicine, and if that is right.. these two are definitely going to live a long happy life together, because they sure laugh to their heart’s content.
Lance and Norma are getting married in Riversdale tomorrow and I’m really excited to be there to capture the beginning of their ever after.

Wellington Engagement Session: Alan & Phoebe

I shot Alan and Phoebe’s engagement a week before their wedding, 3 days before Christmas and there was nothing but smiles on their faces.
There was no trace of wedding stress and watching them simply enjoy each other and escape the hustle and bustle that is Christmas was a joy.
..and capturing that calmness between them was pure bliss.

They met in Germany and are now living in Australia, but New Zealand is still home.. and there’s no better place to tie the knot than home.

Wellington Engagement Session: Samuel & Victoria

If I was to sum up this engagement session in one word, it would be, carefree.
Samuel and Victoria are just too adorable for words and I love capturing their togetherness with my camera.
There’s a certain tenderness and sweetness in the way they smile and look at each other, which shows that they belong together.

And if the afternoon I spent with them was a glimpse of how much fun their day is going to be, I know awesomeness awaits.

Wellington Engagement Session: Jeremy & Emma

I met Jeremy and Emma for the first time on the shoot and the first thing I noticed was how cute they look together.
They compliment each other really well, and I love how Jeremy lights up when he looks at Emma.

It had been raining for days before I shot this engagement session and I was really worried that it would also rain that day. Thankfully though, it didn’t.
Their wedding will be the first I will cover this year and I’m really excited!

Wellington Engagement Session: Adam & Jessica

I shot this engagement session on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, when the weather decided to finally behave after having to reschedule the shoot twice, and I’ve been wanting to post their photos ever since.
I love these two! I love how Adam made Jessica feel comfortable and relaxed, because she was feeling a wee bit nervous just before the shoot, and I love capturing their relationship in front of my camera.
They are the perfect example of why I love this job so much and their photos will speak for themselves.

Adam and Jessica are getting married next week in one of my ultimate favorite venues in New Zealand, Tarureka Estate, and I honestly can not wait for it.
