Manawatu Vintage Car Club, Palmerston North Wedding: Johnson & Michelle

Johnson and Michelle’s wedding was the first we covered in Palmerston North.
The rain didn’t matter as the inside of Manawatu Vintage Car Club provided an intimate atmosphere for the ceremony.
The entire day was fun and full of laughter. Everyone was in high spirits and if I could some up their day in one word, it would be joyful.
Having been able to capture this beautiful day was definitely a blessing.

The day started with the girls and Michelle’s glamorous Sophie Voon dress.

Isn’t the Greenhaugh garden just dreamy?

Johnson and Michelle had set up a photo booth with heaps of props for their guests.
Did I already mention that their wedding was really fun?

Their dance was simply incredible!

Johnson and Michelle, thank you for letting us be part of your amazing day. You guys are simply wonderful and capturing your happiness was a pleasure.
Much love, Candy

Welcome!

Welcome to my new home! The old one has really served me well for two years, but I think it’s time for a change.
I have transferred some of my posts from the old blog here, but if you want to see everything from the old blog, you can still view it {here}.

This is something I have been wanting to do for a while, but as all of you know, it was the wedding season.. and I simply didn’t have the luxury of time.
I worked on the blog and the branding myself, I wanted something simple, that would still reflect me and my work.. and this is what I came up with!

New branding = new letterpress business cards!
Twenty O Four did an amazing job with them, don’t you think?

Packaging was also a huge part of the new branding, I wanted something that would suit my style and has a rustic and organic feel to it.. and it couldn’t have been any  more perfect than this.

We are now also affiliated with Queensberry. For more information please, fill in the form in the contact page or send me an email!
It also comes in a wooden box like this below.

Kristie and Pete Lockyer - Looks fantastic Candy. We were the lucky recipients of your new packaging when you sent us the DVDs of our photos and were blown away by the presentation.

Silverstream Retreat Wedding: Sam & Victoria

One of the perks of this job is meeting and getting to know amazing people.
I know it sounds like a cliche but it is true. There is nothing like spending a day or two with people who are in love.
Victoria and Sam are definitely one of those couples. They simply can’t take their eyes off of each other.

On St. Patty’s day, under the gorgeous Wellington sunshine in front of the people who are dear to them, Sam and Vic promised to be by each other’s side forever.

This beautiful field is located at the back of Silverstream Retreat. It was absolutely perfect and had the most gorgeous natural light. We didn’t need to go elsewhere for their portraits.
Victoria is the epitome of a glowing bride. Stunning!

Sam and Vic, thank you for being so lovely. Your wedding was a true reflection of ‘you’ and I’m glad I was there to capture all the details, the laughter and the happy tears.
Congratulations and much love.
