Pounui Homestead Wedding: Gary & Megan

It’s another rainy and cold afternoon here in Wellington as I write this, but today in particular I don’t seem to mind with photos as gorgeous as these.
Gary and Megan were married in Pounui Homestead a few Saturdays ago.
Their wedding was as bright and radiant as the sunflowers that were in bounty and the beautiful sunshine that blessed us in the Wairarapa.
Could you ask for a more perfect day?

I was going through one photo of perfection after another when I thought ‘why not post all of them?’
They certainly brightened my drizzly afternoon and I know they will brighten yours too.

We started the day in Little Branches, a charming bed and breakfast in Featherston.

The gorgeous Rebecca Connor did an amazing job with Megan’s makeup. As always!

Megan’s beautiful smile, her dainty lace gown and that swing were the perfect ingredients for these gorgeous photos!

Gary and Megan, we can’t thank you enough for letting us witness and document your wedding day through our cameras.
You two are awesome and you made it so easy for us to capture your joy. Much love.

The French Village Wedding: Nick & Mary

I hope you’re sitting comfortably because this wedding here is definitely a swoonfest. I am still gushing over the details from this day.
On a pouring-down-buckets day, Nick and Mary got married at the beautiful French Village, in the Wairarapa.
Everyone was celebrating this couple’s love for each other and as always, it’s such a blessing to be part of such an intimate occasion.

Nick and Mary live in London and with the help of their family, they planned this 70′s-themed wedding together.
Every single detail was well thought out.. from her dress to the car and the table cloths!
Everything was planned to perfection, it was amazing!

Nick and Mary, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. Your wedding was perfection from start to finish. Best wishes and much love.

We started the day with a pair of these to-die-for Michael Kors heels and Mary’s 70′s dress, that she got from a vintage store in London.

While they were signing their marriage certificates, Will, Nick’s brother-in-law, who’s also a part of the band ‘Zulu Winter‘, serenaded them with a song.

It was a bone-chilling summer’s day and the rain didn’t stop pouring, but Nick and Mary took it all in their stride and here are the beautiful photos, don’t they look stunning?

Before the reception started, Mary changed into this Miu Miu dress. Gorgeous!

Yes, even the pots and the food are 70′s-themed!

Tarureka Estate Wedding: Alan & Phoebe

A few days before Alan & Phoebe’s big day, I had the pleasure of getting to know them closer when I shot their engagement session in Wellington.
Like I said on my blogpost {here}, Alan and Phoebe were a vision of calmness and on their wedding day they were just the same!

They tied the knot at Tarureka Estate.. I know, I know.. I’ve said this a few times before, but that place is nothing but pretty and I absolutely love covering weddings there.
Add the tiny lovely details that Phoebe prepared for this special occasion and voila.. you get a wedding that’s an absolute feast for the eyes!

Alan and Phoebe, thank you for letting us capture these intimate moments, it was an honor to be a part of your special day. Much love.

We started the day at Parehua Martinborough Country Estate, where Phoebe and the girls were staying.

Tarureka Estate is just so beautiful! I can’t help but feel giddy every time we’re here!

These tiny bottles and wild flowers added the perfect touch to this rustic wedding!

Nikki of Peach House Productions brought these balloons for the bridal party. How awesome is she?!

Tarureka Estate Wedding: Adam and Jessica

Adam and Jessica were married in one of my favorite venues, Tarureka Estate.
There’s something about this place that really gets me and makes me giddy. Every. Single. Time.
Add this lovely couple to that  and you can just imagine how excited I was to be covering this wedding.

It was a very cold Summer day, but the grey clouds helped set the tone for this gorgeous wedding.
The entire day was full of laughter, smiles and happy tears.
It was a true celebration of their love with friends and families, who came from all over the world.

Adam and Jessica, documenting your day and your love was truly an honor, so thank you for allowing us to share this special day with you.
Congratulations again and we hope these photos bring you back to that very happy day. Much love and appreciation.

I love how picturesque everything is around Tarureka and how the filtered skies gave us dreamy light!

This beautiful bridal car was hand built by Jessica’s Dad. Amazing!

A little tease..

..from Adam and Jessica’s wedding at the gorgeous Tarureka Estate.
Stay tuned, more photos from this lovely soiree are coming soon.
Happy Friday!
